This spooky tee only makes its appearance each year during October and November. Boasting its "fine funeral furnishings", the Evansville Coffin Company was a manufacturing fixture on North Main Street for over 70 years. Incorporated in 1881 and fueled by Evansville's railroads, abundance of hard wood, and river access, the company was producing 500 coffins each week by 1890. Beyond coffins, they also manufactured wagons, furniture and a number of other products. But after reorganizing in 1944, they closed their doors just a decade later.
